Holiday roll call.

So where's everyone off to? I'll start the ball rolling - for once we're not going to Lefkas (should have bought shares) but we are off to Cornwall for a week and also to visit my mum in Mallorca. (Which may or may not be nice, depending on whether she and my step-father have got to grips with spending all day with each other and don't bicker like children. Apparently retirement seems to take some getting used to!)

Am I the only person going on holiday?

We are going to Aigues Mortes in the south of France for two weeks in August. It is in the Camargue just west of Montpellier and we are renting a private villa.

We are going to Zante for 11 nights in August, dd's are also going to ireland for a week with my parents.

we're off to the Bahamas in 5 weeks . No, we're not well off and going on a luxury 5 star trip, my sister lives there in a very modest house on a very small island (they haven't even got roads). We haven't seen her for 3 years so have just booked. I can't wait to see her but not looking forward to the journey with a 4 year old and 23 month old.

We Pestos are off to Barbados for a fortnight towards the end of August. We won't be going to our first choice of hotel though, as apparently the refurbishment has not yet been finished. Virgin haven't yet confirmed this, but we think we shall be staying in the north instead of the South Coast now.

I'm sure it will be fine. DDs are very much looking forward to it.

Then might go to Sardinia in September

Week with inlaws (yet again and not a holiday if you ask me) and a week in Fife. The joys of being an expat never cease.

We were supposed to be going to Sunsail Marvarde in September but I've cancelled due to needing a new bathroom instead. poop

we're going to Cala Mesquida in Majorca for two weeks end of July - can't await - I'm more excited than the kids
