Cyprus - Early April

Does anyone have any experience of weather in Cyprus early April?

Any advice on what clothes to take?

I've had a quick look, doesn't look much brighter than here in the UK!

Spring in the Med can be unpredictable, but it can also be lovely and warm. I like Cyprus for early/late sun so you could be lucky. I'd take summery stuff, but one pair of jeans, a couple of cardies and a rain jacket, just in case.

Early April is always a gamble, wouldn't do it myself. You could have a week of sunshine or a week of rain.

I live in Cyprus we've had a glorious week but now got a massive storm rumbling, just about to dash outside and grab my washing ☔⚡

Oh no hahah! I've booked it. To be honest a change of scenery is good enough for me.

We always go every year early April/ May last year it rained every morning and the afternoons where glorious! Every year before that it’s been beautiful!

We've been at that time of year and had everything from torrential rain to warm, clear days. It's a bit like packing for an English summer holiday! Take a light rain coat & an umbrella, closed shoes (I hate wearing sandals in the rain). I think we wore jeans & a light jumper in the evenings but were usually in t-shirt & shorts (sometimes with a jumper or a cardi) in the day.

OP I live in Paphos and have just arrived back after a week in Budapest, apparently the weather has been dreadful while I was away! We got off the plane at 5pm to black skies and torrential rain, unheard of at this time of year 😲 It's usually 23-24c around now. The forecast is picking up for next week though so keeping my fingers crossed for you 😁

We arrived Friday night, rain yesterday and forecast rain today .... think we will go to the Zoo?!

It's nice to be away and we did a long walk yesterday so I'm happy!

The zoo is quite decent! It's not been great today and unfortunately paphos is not the best place when the weather is shit.

If you're into history then the mosaics by the harbour and Tombs of the Kings are meant to be good. The Ethnographic Museum in the old town is also worth a visit.

It's very up and down in April. There's still snow on troodos, you could hire a car and go build a snowman!
