Hi all! This is a good one for mums and families. This Easter period at the Royal Shakespeare Company there's lots of stuff to do, if any of you are looking for time to fill and interesting and varied activities! From the RSC website:

A range of workshops and activities from theatre skills to storytelling. Wednesday 10 - Friday 26 April 2019

All Easter you can pick up a free Activity Trail to discover hidden gems around the building, explore our theatres on a Tour, go to the top of the Tower for views of Shakespeare's home town, and dress up in costumes from our new dressing up cabinet. Just ask a member of staff for a free trail or to find out more.

THE PLAY'S THE THING
Kids go free to our award winning family exhibition The Play's The Thing during Warwickshire school holidays. Up to four children can go free with every full price adult ticket purchased.

WORKSHOPS
Alongside our drop in activities, exhibitions and events, you can take part in workshops, using approaches straight from our rehearsal rooms. These are broken down into three age ranges:

Introduce:
For ages 4 – 8 and their families/carers
Introduce the love of theatre and Shakespeare to your family with our series of fun and active taster workshops.

Discover
For ages 8 – 12 and their families/carers
Discover how our actors work in the rehearsal room to make theatre whilst learning more about Shakespeare’s plays. We also run full-day workshops within this age group for young people to attend without their parent/carers.

Explore
For ages 13 - 17
These sessions will give a greater insight into the work of the RSC and how we create theatre and bring Shakespeare to life. These workshops are for young people to attend without their parents/carers

:)
