Holiday prices rocketed

Is it just me? I've been watching one hotel in Majorca and the prices have been fluctuating a bit for one week all inclusive. I was waiting for them to drop again but all of a sudden the price of a week has increased by £100s 😳 Has anyone else noticed this? Absolutely kicking myself for not booking it when it was the cheapest I'd seen it now.

I haven't checked prices today. Will now. I booked flights for June yesterday as I was worried that if it looked like brexit would be delayed the prices would go up. I'll check and feed back.

Flights are the same. Give or take £5.

Checked jet2 and Ryanair. Only flights tho. Not booking accommodation.

It’ll be the Brexit effect. I have put off booking anything outside the UK due to all the uncertainty. With the votes for an extension maybe people are feeling a bit more optimistic. I’m still unsure though!

If brexit happens they will tumble because the £ will be so weak against euro and hoteliers are worried about occupancy

Dolceandgabbana14 · 14/03/2019 20:08

The best price I found was £1870. Same flights, same hotel, same room category is now £2460 😢😢😢 £590 more!!!

Good to hear the flights are the same price. I'll have a look on some other websites to see if there's a better deal for the same hotel, maybe it's just this company that's inflated their prices.

I have no idea how Brexit will affect prices. I thought they might go up!

yesterday some flights I wanted were £42, went to book today and risen to £157 Confused

Try looking via incognito browsing. Some sites (Ryanair for sure) can tell from your up address how many times you've checked the same details and they up the price

IP address

Lulu, that's outrageous! Just shows how much money they're making 😡

Thanks for the tip, Freda. Just tried but it didn't make any difference with incognito browser (but it had the search saved so it looks like I tried that once before so maybe I need to try DH's phone)!

I'm not booking anything in Europe this year with the political situation.
