FAstcat Cherbourg to Portsmouth

Has anyone done this? We booked our return journey though Eurocamp on the Fastcat and Eurocamp don't offer any accommodation oprtions, tho' I gather from other websites that there is a clubclass option - is this the case? Am annoyed if so that Eurocamp don't offer it and will defnitiely book direct next year if that is the case....

tbh with kids you spend most of your time stumbling around the ferry anyway

dh insists on it as somehow he manages to sit and read the paper while I lurch round the ferry with three hyper kids

We've done this - just went cattle class figuring that it was a quick enough crossing, and all the seats are reserved anyway. I'd recommend this fast crossing. I think ours was Brittany Ferries, and was from Poole to Cherbourg.
