Just want a few days away. Can go any day for any duration - not tied to Easter BH. Any ideas?

There is a website and you can put in date I think and see cheapest flights for those dates - cannot remember website though!

Look at the explore option on Skyscanner, you can just put departure point and dates in then put "anywhere" as destination.

A PP said, try skyscanner and select everywhere for the whole month of April, direct flights only. We usually find that Malaga/Costa del Sol is the cheapest for us.

I booked to go to Berlin, the flight was around £80, leaving on The saturday and coming back on the wednesday. I couldn't find many cheap flights, unless I wanted to go to Belfast

Make sure you have travel insurance booked
and that your passports comply with the likely rules for next month
and that if you plan to rent a car you have the right paperwork for April

Where are you in the UK?

Thanks all v helpful. What paperwork do we need to hire a car from April and what are the passport rules?

We are in SE - so can fly from any London airport.

Look at Ryan airs website - coastal destinations will be more expensive but there's always bargains with flexibility eg flying Wednesday to Wednesday.

Hard to say what paperwork you will need to hire a car or what the passport rules will be because it’s dependent on Brexit
BUT to be on the safe side make sure all travellers have at least 6 months left on their passports. You may need an international drivers license but it’s not clear yet
