Morocco - any hotel recommendations?

Thinking of Morocco for 4 or 5 nights in July, although I need to do more research about whether this is a good time to go there.
Anyway, does anyone have any recommendations of where to stay, budget about £1500, and I would like a pool which rules out lots of the riads in Marrakech. Any suggestions gratefully received!

Riad Azzouna 13.

Oh, didn't read the bit about a pool, sorry. It is beautiful, though.

I wouldn’t go to Marrakech in July. It’s scorching! If you’re thinking of Morocco, head to the coast where there’s a sea breeze! Agadir is a good option and most budget airlines fly direct from several UK airports. There’s a ClubMed in Agadir and RIU Tikida Dunas is good too (amazing pool complex!)

Essouira is beautiful too for breezy coast. I've been to Marrakech in July/August and it was indeed baking (about 50-52 degrees) but it's still my favourite city of all time.

Riad jawad outside Marrakesh is lovely with a pool

Thanks for responses! I've found somewhere now. I did hesitate because of the heat, but it's the only time we can go. However, I've made sure we have a large, airy suite with air conditioning. Plan to lounge about during the day, and venture out a couple of times when its cooler. No plan to go traipsing about!

We stayed at Iberostar Marrakesh. It was fantastic. A few pools. They have a shuttle bus that runs into centre but otherwise the hotel has everything and the staff are amazing.

Hi OP, would you mind sharing where you’ve booked? I’m about to book a last minute holiday for a week in the Easter holidays and a bit overwhelmed by the choice! Thanks
