similar resort to Lido di Jesolo?

We stayed at Lido di Jesolo last year for a few days (me, DH and DD7)as part of a longer holiday and despite reading beforehand that it wasn't everybody's cup of tea, we really enjoyed it.

What we liked was that it was lively but in a very family friendly way. Evenings in particular were perfect - loads of restaurants and shops and neon etc but absolutely no drunk people, no brits abroad types.

What other places might we enjoy along similar lines? Doesn't have to be Italy although we did love it. Decent beach/sea essential, location with scope for day trips preferable.

We loved Milano Marittima and Cervia. Fabulous pine forests and the beaches were fab. We flew into Bologna and stayed overnight and then drove out the coast. Emilia Romagna is one of my favourite places.

Begur is lovely and I can recommend Tamariu too is Costa Brava.

We also liked Grosetto in Italy on the coast, in the Tuscany region.

Oh- last one,

I’ve been to lido de jesolo (a long time ago) and now live in carvoeiro in the algarve - not dissimilar

Definitely somewhere on yet Costa Brava like Calella or Lanzarote.

Grado is a little distance away (fly into Trieste) and a gorgeous very underrated resort.

I had a holiday at union lido in lido de jesolo as a kid. We went to argeles sur mer in south west France last summer and it felt v similar.
