We are due in November and are trying to get our heads round how to plan out our budget (two salaries down to one and extra expenses all feels quite intimidating).

Has anyone got any tips on websites or other info sources that will help us to plan what we will be spending and on what items?

Breastfeed and then you don't need to buy bottles etc - it's cheaper and easier.
A lot of things people say you need, you don't.
Also in my case I was happy to go to back to work quickly so had 90% pay whilst I was off although then you and your other half have to fund half childcare costs each. So it depends if you or he currently earn more than you'd pay for childcare if that financial option works.

also washable nappies are cheaper in the long run and are really not that much hard work IMO.

If you breast feed and use washable nappies you will find the 1st 6 months the baby isnt very expensive at all!
