We are hoping to have a short break in Dublin soon. My brother lives there but didn't have a family until recently so has no experience of hotels/self catering places that cater for young children (I have a 3 year old and an almost 1 year old).
Any suggestions?

We have done a few trips to Dublin. We once stayed in a jurys hotel which had nice big rooms. We stayed in an apartment which we found in the sunday papers but it wasnt in a great area.

Bluebear, I've stayed at both these apartments in Dublin with my son (when he was 1 and 2 years of age)

Days

Molesworth

The Molesworth one is very central, a little tricky to find as it's down a side lane but you're one street away from the main shopping street, Grafton Street and a couple of minutes walk from St Stephen's Green. The Days apartments are geared towards the corporate letting market and are on the other side of Stephen's Green from the shopping area.

The Molesworth one has a really good (but pricey) restaurant right next to it called One Pico.

Both sets of apartments come with kitchen so makes it handy for feeding kids etc.

Hope this helps.

cheers
