getting a quote for holiday online

I'm trying to get some quotes for a holiday for next year. I'm sure there must be a website that I can get quotes from different companies. We have found a hotel we would like to go to but want to see what price we can get.

Sounds a good idea, never seen one myself though, I'm sure that someone will be able to help you soon though. Try bumping it up for tomorrow?

try expedia.co.uk?

or if you do a google search on the hotel name, it'll throw up various holiday websites

www.cheapflights.co.uk
www.cheapnights.co.uk

You get the listing by place and lowest price then you contact the agency to book it, IME all the agencies have the same offers so if you find the agency you rang doesn't have it leave it alone and try the next proce, nobody else will have it either.

If you have some flexibility you can specify a month and they will come with the best fares for it. Flight4less have been very helpful in the past.

Good luck :)

PS. Expedia is also great, but you can't search by price, but it is a very reliable provider.

Try tripadvisor.com and plug in the hotel name (for hotels only), and they will give you a compare rates option where you plug in your dates and they pop up about five different hotel sites with quotes, so you can see what works best. I also find that hotel websites are now pretty savvy, and many will offer pretty good rates if you book directly. Still, I usually then also call the hotel directly and ask for a quote, and then ask "is that the best rate/package". It's amazing how often they will come back with a lower rate or extra features if you ask.
