Thinking of visiting New York in the Easter holidays. It will be me, dh and 3 DC's who will be 11, 9 and 5.

Any recommendations of where to stay? We have a list of things we want to do and see but are there any things we should do that the DC's would particularly enjoy?

Try looking at all the other threads on the same topic. Cheaper areas to stay are Harlem and possibly Brooklyn but if you can spend more, look at somewhere like the Cittadines appartments. Family rooms for 5 might be quite difficult to find.

What to do: walk the High Line, Chelsea Market, take the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, visit Ellis Island, the Tenement Museum, Top of the Rock and/or Empire State Building, MoMa, The Guggenheim, a broadway show, walk around SoHo, Radio City Music Hall, Brooklyn Bridge, Twin Towers memorial, the Met, Central Park, 5th Avenue and Tiffany’s, themed restaurants, and probably 100 more places I haven’t thought of!
