Worries of a first-time mother!

Hi, I am 35, a first-time mother of beautiful twins. My family back in my home country is elated and wants to see me badly. I feel bad rejecting them but I'm really jittery as I'm only in my first trimester... Do you think it's safe to travel? Are there any tips or anything I should take note of? The flight will take about 6 hours... Confused

Bit confused. Are you pregnant or have you had the twins? What age do you want to fly with them or what week of pregnancy?

PenguinPandas · 20/02/2019 05:08

Flying is safe in first trimester but how is healthcare in home country? If something goes wrong at this stage though there isn't really much they can do. I wouldn't be pressured though, if you don't want to go don't. You could also have morning sickness. Second trimester is better to fly in or they can fly to you.

Are you a mother of twins or are you preg with twins, or both, you have twins and now you're pregn again with twins? Confused

Oh I'm pregnant with twins, sorry for the confusion! Healthcare back home is alright but I'll probably have to wait really long even with an appointment... I'd love to persuade my parents to come if they don't have motion sickness. Just a bit worried about the risks of travel during my first tri...

Well don't go if it's going to make you anxious.

What risks of travel during the first tri? I am not aware of any. I flew loads for work and pleasure until I was grounded by pregnancy complications at 28 weeks.

Jackshouse · 20/02/2019 06:55

How many weeks pregnant are you?

clareboba8 · 20/02/2019 09:22

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and not aware if there are any huge risks. I'm really just overthinking and being jittery
