Can you get breakfast at Disneyland Paris hotels?

We are looking to go to DL Paris in the summer and are looking at which hotel to go for. Many of the ones on Magic Breaks don't seem to offer a breakfast option. Do the hotels not do breakfast? Where are you meant to get it from?

We stayed in the kingdom club in the Disneyland hotel, we had breakfast with character visits included every day

I’ve been 3 times, stayed in the Cheyenne once and Newport bay twice. Breakfast is continental and included. And it is plentiful!

When I went they didn't do breakfast in the hotels - it was a quick service breakfast from one of the restaurants at the park ..... I think it depends which meal plan you are going for

Yes, they're often buffet style .

Im fairly sure you have to pay extra.

If not there's lots of places to eat in the village bit outside, and in the park itself.

There's an excellent website with TINS of info about DLP

I'll find it now

The breakfast situation changed a couple of years ago and if you want breakfast in the hotels now ( except in suites / special rooms) it costs extra . If you are going for a dining plan the breakfast that is included is ,unless specified, a grab an drink go option at specific restaurants in the park .

Be careful. Unless things have changed you may get a set breakfast time on checking in, which could be as early as 6.30am... I used to work on reception at Newport Bay and would often reward the rudest customers with this particular slot :)

This was a while back though and things may have changed since then, but worth confirming (or at the very least being very nice to the reception staff!).

There's a Starbucks in the Cheyenne (Toy Story/wild west themed hotel) which was one of the cheapest ones to stay in when we went. Breakfast in the parks wasn't great to be honest, I'd definitely do Starbucks or somewhere in the Village if I were you!

Depends what package you do, we had "free" half board at Santa Fe, if we wanted to eat breakfast we would have had to pay a fair chunk to eat breakfast there. We ended up going in to do early magic hours, then eating at Annette's diner as it was only €2 charge each on top of our vouchers and filling enough to keep us going until dinner!

notanothernam · 18/02/2019 21:41

If you buy a half board package rather than getting it "free" (inverted commas!) you can eat in the hotel at no extra cost, otherwise it's a grab and go breakfast.

Poppysball · 18/02/2019 21:44

Thank you all, glad I asked now as had no idea you had to pay extra! Neither of my dc's are big breakfast eaters so don't really want to add possibly £100 to the trip for breakfast.
Not sure what to do now...

Sorry can I just check, this is just at the Disney hotels? Maybe some of the non Disney hotels will do breakfast..

Out of interest are there any particular advantages to staying at a Disney hotel rather than non Disney hotel?

Early magic hours, you go in an hour earlier, we got on most of the rides at that time! Are they doing free half board deals at the moment? We made good use of that. For me it's part of the magic staying on site, and even at Santa Fe it was totally walkable with a 4 year old.

anniehm · 18/02/2019 22:25

Breakfast is always included I think, was when we last went 3 years ago (Newport club)

00100001 · 19/02/2019 07:34

Check out the website I posted, it really is a good resource to get the most out of your trip

Snowmaggedon · 19/02/2019 09:56

Annual pass, get all benefits of Disney hotel eg EMT , special entrance...( By pass queuing hotel guest's...)..

And non of this nonsense!

If you stay near Val d Europe... restaurants.. food, shops..bolongeris a plenty. Free shuttle to park. And mostly much nicer hotels... check out..hi park series. Adagio apartments And hotel eyeless.
