Lanzarote resort and cycling question

Hi , looking to book a week away for October half term. We went to Crete last half term, loved it but would like more reassurance with weather this year. Considering the canaries, husband loves to cycle so I'm looking at Playa Blanca and Costa Teguise in Lanzarote . Two questions what are the resorts like, nice restaurants are important!, and has anyone cycled there, we normally head to pollensa for cycling earlier in year and wondered how it compares.

We haven't cycled there, but much much preferred Playa Blanca to Costa Teguise. Costa Teguise felt a bit Great Yarmouth-esque. Much better restaurants in Playa Blanca.

Teguise town inland is really nice, it's our favourite place on the island. Lots of cool cafes and bars and a couple of nice restaurants. But it's such a small island you can drive/cycle all over pretty easily.

Playa Blanca is great

Stayed in Playa Blanca last year and it was lovely, one of the nicer area of Lanzarote IMO. Loads of restaurants/cafes/pubs/bars along the front and some more into the town. There was a particularly nice gin and tapas bar that we found, the food was just amazing. You'll have a great time.

Playa Blanca is a lovely place.
