Spare day in Covent Garden

I’m going to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child next week on Thursday and Friday, and staying just nearby. Any ideas of what to do with a relaxed child-free day on Friday? Ideally without too much walking or standing - DH would love to find a science museum, I’d love a long lunch, but both those options have been vetoed. Help!

How little standing? That limits it a bit, especially if you don’t want a leisurely lunch.

Boat trip down the Thames would be an option - you can get on to Greenwich, see the Cutty Sark, Maritime Museum. Or as far as docklands and take a ride on the cable car.

Museums will be packed - half term.

Staying so central there are lots of options by foot, eg Soho, or tube or bus, eg Southbank.

There are free lunchtime music events at the Royal Festival Hall every Friday in the Central Bar and free lunchtime recitals at 1pm on Fridays at St Martins in the Fields.
There’s a Peanuts and Snoopy/Charlie Brown exhibition at Somerset House.

What about a riverside boat trip? Also if you are in London a ride on the Wheel is a must. There are lots of events in the capital for families with children.
Do you have a wheelchair or not? What is the rule behind the no standing?
