Mauritius

After planning on going to either Thailand or Vietnam we’ve ended up booking Mauritius (end July / August) at the Dinarobin hotel.

I had initially been sceptical about Mauritius but it looks like there’s tons to do. We have 2 teens and all enjoy SUP / kayaking etc. We’ll hire a car - what things have people particularly enjoyed in Mauritius?

Thank you Smile

We took our kids when they were 5 so a bit younger, had a fabulous time.
We went round the island, casela nature park, black rivers gorge, the Hindu temple, various beaches, the capital. Didn't get to the botanical gardens. That would be on my list for next time. Only disappointment wS snorkeling was poor although did see plenty of dolphins. Food excellent, weather excellent, hotel first class, plenty to see and do plus all watersports. The hotel had golf, archery, fishing, horse riding, water skiing etc. Have a brilliant time. I love the Indian ocean we've just been to Maldives.

We've stayed at Dinarobin with teens.
Good luck getting them out and about, ours spent the whole holiday water skiing and sailing at the Paradis (sister hotel next door).
It's a great holiday destination.
My favourite trip was dolphin watching.

Thank you everyone much appreciated. Really looking forward to it- slightly nervous about the weather but fingers crossed will be mid 20’s.
