3 days in Rome in April

I would be very grateful for any advice on the best area to stay in please. Also hotel or Airbnb? Going with sister and mum (78).

Decide what the key things you want to see are and stay as central to them as you can.

I would look on Airbnb or Homeaway. Hotels can be expensive.

How mobile is your mum? You will need to do a lot of walking in Rome.

Thanks. Mum is pretty good, especially in the mornings, then slows down as the day goes on. Needs plenty of coffee/lunch breaks. I’m thinking early starts are best in Rome.

Came to ask for Rome recommendations too.
Although taking my 11yo DD rather than mother.
