We've had 10 days with Owners Direct before now but depends on the owner.

Yes, we've done 10 days in the summer holidays through Owners Direct. As well as getting a longer holiday, we saved about 30% on flights through not travelling at the weekend.

Most owners do either charge a premium or insist on 2 full weeks. They loose out otherwise as not a lot of people pay for just 2-3 days.

AirBnB may be a better solution, I agree.

We looked this summer as we knew we could only do 6 instead of 7 days but didn't find anybody who would go short in high season. So we pay the day extra and see that the budget covers it.

We normally stay for 10 or 11 days rather than a fortnight, however we often book ourselves with Holiday lettings or owners direct.
James Villas and Jet2 villas do give 10 or 11 night options too though.

The only problem I sometimes come across is in school summer holidays that owners are a bit more reluctant to take a 10/11 day booking as obviously they would rather fill the holidays without 3/4 day gaps if possible. We have done it several times though in Portugal , Spain and South of France.

No. Last time we had flights booked for 10 days but could t get a villa. Ended up with a week in a villa and 3 nights in a hotel which really pushed the price up

Have a look on jet2villas. I think they will let you stay any length of time you like.

If you put your requirments in here you can see all the holidays available and filter to find what is suitable.
