Going to Iceland in a couple of weeks, have booked flights, hotel & excursion from airport to Blue Lagoon & on to hotel.
Do we need to book any more or are we ok to wait & book when we get there ?? Anyone been & not booked excursions before they go ?
Conflicting advice when I've googled !!

If you aren't bothered about doing excursions on big busses you will be fine to book once there. If you want to do something with a smaller operator (especially a NL tour) then book in advance.

We went in Summer and booked everything there. We did a Golden Circle food tour which was brilliant, so much delicious food. Also the brewery tour which is adults only and is more of a brewery experience, with a lot of beer involved. Do not drive to the brewery tour Grin.

I went just before Christmas, I drove but I have lots of driving experience in very bad weather and Iceland was some of the worst conditions I have seen but no issues on studded tyres and stick to tourist routes
