Hotel in Cyprus

Hi,
we look to go to Cyprus in October half term. Can anybody recommend a nice 4-5* hotel?

We are looking to go out a lot, sightseeing, not just laying at the pool. So AI is not necessarily a must but we def want a nice area with lots of restaurants to go for dinner as DH is not keen on an AI resort anyway and loves "escaping the prison".

Oh, and if there is anything you can do watersport related or could cater for a pre-teen that would be great as well.

Adams Beach Hotel is well placed for restaurants and it has several accommodation options that would suit a family with a pre teen. The hotel itself doesn’t have watersports but it does have a good pool complex with a couple of decent waterslides and a lazy river.
Grand Resort Limsassol is equally well placed. It’s a very family-friendly hotel. No waterslides but it does provide watersports.
Last recommendation would be Aliathon Ionian. Like the above two hotels, you can do B&B, half board or all inclusive, but I don’t think the website makes that clear. It has a high ropes course, football and swim academy, bike hire, watersports and the kids clubs run right up to teenagers.
