Infant Car Seat

Can anyone recommend which car hire companies don't charge the earth for a car seat? I'm going to the Azores in April, my DD will be 5 months. Ryanair want 60 to take the car seat (which is a MASSIVE stay in car one that I really don't fancy carting about!) and the few car hire companies that I've looked at already want 15 euros a day for an infant car seat - it literally doubles the price!

Is there another/better way to do this?

Take your own. I never trust hire companies anymore when it comes to car seats as we had a huge problem with SIXT and that was in our home country where there were no language issues and we had previous correspondence with the hire station itself promising us all would be well.

Disaster, never again.
