Currently browsing holidays for September
We are first time parents and going to be baby's first holiday, we are looking for something child friendly not to far to travel by plane.
Please help if you have any recommendations Smile

We did South of France when our daughter was 3 months, was nice (excuse the pun)

How old will they be?

What kind of accommodation?

Villa Pia, in Tuscany.

Best holiday you will ever have with a baby or small child! Lots of prior threads about it or just google.

Centre parcs?

Watching with interest as I'm in a similar position with DS who will be nearly 1 when we plan to travel in September also.

We're looking at Mallorca (Cala Ratjada or Cala Millor), if that helps. Shallow waters with few waves, lots of beaches, animal safari and there seems to be lots of family friendly restaurants. It also appeals to me that it doesn't take much time to get from the airport to the resort and vice versa, of course. I'll be hiring a car with backseat driver parents-in-law, which I'm not particularly looking forward to. . .

I went there as a child but don't remember much about it, to be honest, apart from lots of stray dogs and cats. I would think that things have probably changed a lot since then!

Turkey was the most incredibly child-friendly place I've ever been.
