Winter Holiday - any recommendations?

Can you help? Looking at taking a Jan/Feb holiday (somewhere warm and child friendly), and anyone recommend a resort/apartment?

must have:

Entertainment for the children (aged between 18 months and 7)
Reasonably priced
Will consider all inclusive
Don't want to fly too far (hence the Canary islands will be an obvious choice for us)

In the canaries i can recommend playa blanca, Lanzarote. We were self catering but there was no entertainment.

Want to book this in a couple of weeks but not getting much response from all of the seasoned travellers out there.

Been to Lanzarote 3 times, and will go back there to the place that we usually go to (unless anyone else has any recommendations).

Can anyone recommend a great hotel/apartments - with all those child friendly bits for a winter sun holiday????

Have you though about Dubai - or is it too far? Lovely beaches , beautiful hotels, good childcare and great shopping too .

Thanks for that Mabs, but Dubai is a bit too far really (and probably too expensive).
