I have spent far too long looking at hotels and B&Bs in Dublin, can anyone help me, please!

This place is ok. It is cheap and bang in the centre of town without being in a dodgy area.

Hi
I would not recommend that hotel. It is in a dodgy area, plenty of addicts around at night. I am from Dublin so I know the areas and the hotels very well.

For my money I would recommend Bewleys Hotel in Ballsbridge.
Huge wonderful Art Deco building. Has its own bar and restaurant. Quite a lively spot in an upscale location, close to public transport, cafes bars etc. Rooms are about ?109 for two per night, excluding breakfast (Breakfast in restaurant). You can't go wrong with it. It is very popular and really good value for money so I'd advise you to book early.
Best of luck.
