Where to stay near Naples?

I’ve got a week in Late June that I can stay near Naples before having to be in Naples for work. Thought I’d use the flights that work are paying for to get a holiday out of it too..

Dp and I really liked Santorini but it was extortionately expensive. The Amalfi coast looks equally ludicrously priced. I thought perhaps could get a small villa inland with a pool and drive to the beauty spots?

Or are there any other places nearby that are good to stay?

Ideally we’d like an Airbnb to cook in with a private pool/hot tub

Otherwise one in a town where we can walk for a swim in the sea

Any ideas?

Have you looked at Air BnB in Amalfi - it's a very pretty town with a great beach, many restaurants & a good vibe. I think you can get there by other means but the way we went was by bus (which you catch from outside the train station in Sorrento - catch a train to Sorrento from Naples).

Praiano near Positano is cheaper and more relaxed. Lovely place.

Hi, I stayed in an amazing air b&b with friends in a town outside sorrento massa lubrense, it had pool and amazing views of Capri. Not near a town but you could walk to lovely harbour marina della lobra with the friendliest bar ever. We got taxis to sorrento and positano , sigh was amazing

Maori is on the Amalfi coast but isn't Amalfi coast prices, it's very reasonable in fact - and very pretty. Amalfi itself is a short taxi ride away if you want to explore.
