Holiday buddies?

DH has said that he doesn't want to go on holiday where I have suggested, but has indicated that he doesn't mind if I go without him. I am going to have to have the conversation again, but does anyone here have any experience of finding a holiday buddy online?

All my friends have someone to travel with, and I wouldn't go somewhere completely new on my own.

Interested to hear others' experiences.

Just go with one of the solo holiday companies
www.justyou.co.uk

Or travel alone with companies like julesverne.

I have met lots of ladies travelling alone leaving husband at home
I leave mine looking after the animals !

I've only done a couple of weekends away without DH and with the kids. Resorts that do AI are very easy - food and activities are onsite and there's also excursions you can join. Quite a few other single parents on them.
