What to do in Dubai for a couple of days?

We're having a couple of days stopover in Dubai with our 7 year old DD. If you've been there could you suggest what we should do?

We arrive at 7.30am on Saturday and leave at 10am on Tuesday - probably a bit shattered on the first day, then two full days before we leave.

I'd been thinking of a water park one day. Would dune bashing be any good with a 7 year old? A friend has suggested afternoon tea at Burj Al Arab to see the hotel and watch sunset from the balcony. Any other recommendations please?

We went last year and here now. Things we’ve done plan to do are:
Legoland
Bollywood world
Global village
Doing some of the more ‘unique’ malls (ibn battuta mall, dubai festival city currently has a pirate ship and evening laser show but check )
Ethihad museum
Jumeirah medinat going on the boats etc

Careful with dune bashing. We did a trip that was highly rated on trip advisor. Turns out that during trip they almost blackmail you to leave feedback for them. The reviews all feature the guides name: it’s laughable

Def Atlantis though

Definitely a waterpark. Wild wadi or Atlantis
Burn Khaifa(tallest building) and musical fountains
One of the theme parks
Definitely recommend a dessert safari
Dinner Dhow cruise on the creek
Abra ride across the creek
The malls have plenty of activities to keep kids busy.
Ski Dubai
