Dh and I are trying to think of something wow to do for our Silver Wedding in December (we got married between Christmas and New Year), we don't want a party, we want to go somewhere!

So he has come up with the Ice Hotel which looks wonderful!

If you've been What excursions/activity did you do? How disabled friendly would you say it was (I walk with sticks and use a wheelchair for longer distances). Do you think it was worth it? Did you get to see the Aurora Borealis?

Thanks very much!

Yes, we went to the original Swedish one. We went in feb as the best time to see the northern lights, and saw them twice too. Can't really help with regards to accessibility only to say everywhere is snowy and icy, sounds obvs but pathways are not cleared. There were husky rides, skidoo safaris, and sleeping in an ice room as activities, not masses to do only went for three days which is about the norm. Food v expensive and average. Nice experience though.
