Has anyone here holidayed alone? Are there any specific companies that cater for this or do I just have to suck up the single room supplement cost? Thanks!

I’ve holidayed alone a number of times and not paid extra. I don’t stay anywhere fancy though

I had great tours with them covering classical sites in Greece and turkey.
But they also do more beach type holidays if that’s your thing.

a lot of the 'adventure' travel tour companies attract single travellers - can share a room with someone else of the same sex or pay the single supplement.
