We are planning to visit DP's brother who lives in Reno, NV end April/early May.
We have 2 DS, aged 4 and 1.5. We plan on staying with them for a week to ten days and then want to explore and have some family time. Looking for ideas for places to stay for a week, kid friendly, either coastal or near a national park perhaps. Haven't decided whether to fly to San Fran, or LA, and drive on to Reno (it's 5 hrs from SF, or short flight from LA), because this will be informed by other places we visit.
Has anyone got any suggestions for places we could try? We've done SF before and not that keen. Have also done Yosemite before the kids came along and although it's great, not sure they will get much from it. Wondering about N. California, Seattle or Portland? or somewhere near LA (not LA itself though..!). A bit overwhelmed with options TBH!
