What to do in London

Hi folks,

We are intending to go to London for the day quite soon for my daughter's birthday.
Looking for your list of best things to do-
my girls are 15 and 17.

In particular, any recommendations of things I should book in advance.

We haven't been in years and years, so want to do all the touristy things and take lots of photos!

Thanks for any advice and help!

See the Crown Jewels and the ravens at the Tower of London and take one of tours given by the Yeomen at the tower. They don’t cost anything extra and are very entertaining. The Tower of London is one of the stops on the Thames River Cruise. You could catch the boat from there to the London Eye pier and you’ll see lots of sights such as Shakespeare’s Globe. Most of the boats have an enclosed area. You could then go on the London Eye (get a combi boat cruise and London Eye ticket). From there I’d walk over the Golden Jubilee Bridges to Trafalgar Square and up to Fortnum and Mason for tea, then walk to Leicester Square to visit M and M world. Chinatown borders Leicester Square and is worth an explore. Head to Covent Garden afterward if there’s time.

They might like one of the speedboats that go down the Thames - are pricey though.

Thank you @PenguinPandas, yes I think we might do the ordinary Thames boat thing Wink
