Our first holiday abroad with 2 young teens, both outdoorsy and like sight seeing, any suggestions for an Easter break?

Not quite Northern France, but it can be the same drive time as Northern Brittany, if you like cycling Ile d'Oleron has a good network of cycle paths, a bird reserve, boat trips to a nearby island, a lighthouse you can go up etc. And the weather should be very pleasant at Easter.

The North Coast could feel a bit bleak if this Easter is a cold/wet one.

My first two holidays as an adult I went to North West Brittany. It's lovely and rustic but a deceptively long drive.
