Milan for a 6 year old

I will be in Milan with my 6 year old son for a day and a half in February. Any suggestions of nice things to do with him or places to go? He wouldn’t like the duomo and I wouldn’t like San Siro.

He might like going on the roof top of the duomo though and looking down over the city? There's a very big park behind the Sforza Castle which is very child friendly and has streams with turtles in. From memory, there's also a big Disney store and plenty of other parks. My DD was 6 when we went and didn't love it (but to be fair, we'd just spent 10 days on beaches) but there's certainly enough to do for a day and plenty of ice cream places which helps! She did like the hop on hop off bus and they had a special English commentary for kids channel on the bus which made it more enjoyable for her back then (this was 4 years ago)

The National Museum of Science and Technology is the largest science and technology museum in Italy. Lots of interactive exhibits such as what it would be like to be submerged in a submarine. Displays are in both English and Italian.
The Natural History Museum is a winner if he likes dinosaurs. Children are free, adults are €5. There was a new exhibit about earthquakes however that is bilingual English/Italian. There’s so much to see, we spent about 1 and a half hours here.
The aquarium is small but has a lot packed in and it’s worth the visit.

Thanks SJane. We will def go to the park if the weather is ok. I’m a bit worried that it’s going to be too cold and rainy for ice cream or being outside too long.
Hop on bus is an option. Is it heated if you sit downstairs? Got a feeling we might end up at San Siro 😪

The San Siro is great - dead easy to get to and a self guided tour.

Acquaworld is a great indoor water park, plenty of flumes, lazy river wave machine, kids play area, plus indoor/outdoor pool 35• was so nice in the cold weather. Really recommend it as water was sooo warm!

He’d love Acquaworld. I had no idea that was there! Might be a bit far as we only have a day but will be going next time.
