Can any recommend a town/area to stay in Corsica in the summer, please?
I'll be spending a bit of time in the north west, where I have a friend to visit. But I thought we might enjoy somewhere in the south for the holiday part.
It's for me and dd (9). She'll like sea swimming (somewhere with proper water, not a bay that only goes 2 inches deep, although if it had that for a bit of a splash about too then fine) and a nice, sandy beach. Preferably with some other kids around.
I'd like: a choice of places to eat that won't cost ££££, some opportunities to explore the landscape (some walking, within dd's limits) and towns. Maybe a museum or two.
Does anyone have any experience & suggestions of areas that might be good? I was looking at Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio. Any thoughts?
I can speak French so no problem with non-English speaking areas.
