Duinrell. Any tips?

Thinking of booking Duinrell for May half term. Travelling with an 8 year old and 15month old.

Anyone been? What's it like? I imagine it's like centre parcs. Hoping there's enough to do for younger DS as there seems plenty to amuse the older one.

Anyone any tips? TIA Smile

Thanks Weetabix. Got day off with an ill DS so actually have some time to do some holiday research! Sadly it looks like we’d need to book a week, rather than a few days, at that time of year, but now thinking of stopping nearby and doing a day visit instead.

Didn't camp but from wandering round and depending what you wanted Lindenveld would be my personal choice. Far end away from most of traffic so quiet, easy walk to the park and water park. Not as easy for getting to Plaza but it's still only a few minutes away. Just felt like the camping places near the plaza were more crowded and lots of people milling in and out. Lindenveld would only be people in lodges or in campsite that would be there really and kids can mill around easier without you having to keep an eye

We have booked for Easter! Can't wait. Flying to Schiphol and hiring a car. Doing 4 nights at Duinrell and then 3 at Beekse Bergen.

Oh my goodness. Some how I didn't get any messages that anyone had replied so I thought it was a duff thread. Sorry for not replying sooner.

Thank you all for your helpful advice. I have booked for May half term (my 10 year wedding anniversary Smile) and we're all really looking forward to it now.

Avoided Euro camp and booked direct. Good value I thought.

Yes definitely avoid eurocamp they have the worst pitches on site! Book direct you get a much better location, great price.
