Ok, I'm tired of searching, can someone help me find ...

A hotel reasonably near Toronto Airport. I don't mind if it's a half hour away or whatever, but it can't be in downtown Toronto. It needs to have:

  • adjoining rooms, or family rooms, or something with more than one room to it. I don't mind if half us are sleeping in a bedroom and the other half in the living room, but I can't have us all in one room.
  • 24 hour facilities. Restaurant? Pool? Something? We will be awake at 5am or something, and I'll want to leave the room (as DH will stay asleep ). Actually, I'll absolutely need food at 5am.

I keep starting to look, and finding what seems to be a hotel with suites, only to find they're studio suites , at which point I start swearing and throwing things.

I have found a house to stay in, in Toronto (rare as hen's teeth), a spot at a resort for a week, and an apartment in Montreal. I have booked flights. (I still have to book a train, and hire a car, but that's a whole other thing.)

MN, please help!

Going to the wedding then ??

No!

This is for our upcoming summer trip - we're flying in, taking a night in an airport hotel, then going on to a resort. It's a solution to a complicated timing problem (involving a Prince concert and a 20-year highschool reunion), that an MNer suggested.

This useful to you?.

HTH!

Hmmm, that has suites, but no gym etc. I keep finding ones that look ok, but either have 'studio suites' (aka rooms) or speak ominously of 'privacy walls', which presumably are not the same thing as, you know, actual walls.

OK this one has a pool and a fitness centre!.

I've found a couple that have suites, now, not 'all suite', but suites, with no ominous talk of 'studio suites' or 'privacy walls'. I think I'll call them to confirm a) actual walls in suites and b) pool etc situation.

The Vaughn one is next to Canada's Wonderland, a good half-hour at least from the airport.

Hotel websites are so annoying to deal with, aren't they.

One is this, the other is this.

Now I just have to sort out car hire. Fun.
