Amsterdam - B & B/small hotel?

2-3 nights end of March with sister. Any recommendations please? Want to be quite central. TIA

We stayed in Hotel Dwars very close to the Princes Canal/central canal ring in October.

Can recommend. Close to tram stops, lots of lovely local bars and restaurants.

Stayed @ Kamer01 right in the centre - was beautiful (Red Room) breakfast divine/the owners utterly charming... i think it has a rooftop terrace now (few years since i was there)

Have just had a look at their website again... brings back lovely memories... the breakfast (and the breakfast room) was exquisite (pics on website)

We stayed at Hotel JLNO76 near the Museumsplein in October. I upgraded ... the basic rooms were underground & even the superior ones were quite small. But twin beds and everything needed, convenient & staff very helpful.

Pension Homeland it's an ex naval officer residence on the water. Ten minute walk from Central station along the waterfront. Has an excellent restaurant and brewery on site. Highly recommended.

Dikker & Thijs Is well located & a lovely place to stay

We're staying on a houseboat, there were loads when we googled it - all sizes and some offer b&b

Thank you all, have now booked a cosy canal view apartment in the Jordaan district. Can’t wait!
