Crete in April - do we need a pool?

We are going to be in Crete over Easter - 15-21 April. The kids would probably prefer hotel with pool and water slides or self-catering with a pool.

I’m pretty easy but I’m wondering how much we would actually use a pool that week - will it be warm enough and will the pools be heated at that point in the season?

I doubt it would be warm enough in April to swim or use water slides unless you could find a place with a heated pool.

I think a pool would be freezing in April
