Santorini in may

Hi, all we are off to santorini towards the end of May, I’m after some recommendations any hidden gems or things we should do? Also if you have been before would you say the weather will be warm enough to swim etc

We went at the start of June and weather was lovely, perfect in fact! Could swim in the day but sometimes needed jacket / wrap at night as it could get a bit breezy and chilly.

Santirini brewery is worth a trip if you like beer, and if any of their beers are available when you’re out they are definitely worth trying! We also did the wine flight thing at santos wines (a bit gimmicky, but the views are amazing!), and visited a couple of other wineries close to the brewing Comp.

We stayed in imerovigli and generally walked sown to Fira each night, went to oia a couple of times but preferred Fira. Catamaran day cruise that ends with sunset at oia is definitely worth doing! Argo was a great restaurant in Fira too.

The views are just so good, I’m very jealous!

Santorini is lovely. I don’t think it’s a hidden gem as such but the wine tours are interesting. Also the walk between Oia and Fira - it’s a good 3 or 4 hours along the cliff top, so beautiful views. Do you know where you’re staying yet?
