Can anyone recommend somewhere all inclusive / young kid friendly ish, preferably not extortionately expensive, short haul, warm in late May (DH fancies a heated pool, I feel this might be optimistic) where we could have a suite / villa / something where we can sleep separately to DC and not all have to go to bed at the same time. We don’t need a crèche type thing but some kids play areas / kid’s pool would be good if possible.

We did Lanzarote in January and it was ideal - water park in the resort for kids and lots of different buffets etc. All suggestions greatly received :)

The Aliathon Ionian Resort in Cyprus has a big choice of family rooms, suites and apartments. There's a playground, splash park and good dining options for small children.

May half term is a good time to go just about anywhere in the Med, as it's not too hot or crowded. Cyprus is good - yes - but you could go somewhere like Menorca or Majorca as well as they'll be warm and pleasant. If you want a heated pool just go somewhere that has one! We usually SC, as its nice to have a bit of space when you're on holiday with DC. The other alternative is to get a suite or family room, as these are usually a bedroom plus living room. Depends how much space you want really. Thomson Sensatori are good with small DC and they have quite a few of them dotted around the Med.

We've booked to stay at Hotel Villa Maria in Tenerife (on MN recommendations!).
We wanted a villa for the space but somewhere we didn't have to cook (you can have all your meals in the restaurant there if you want).
Villa is on 2 floors, has 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom and looks quite spacious.
Looks like there is a pool and playground there too.

Haven't been yet but I have faith in MNetters...
