Hungarian swimming trunks - what type?

Is it like France where you must have speedos or as relaxed as in England? Know nothing about hungary as am going for a wedding! Think DP is starting to get a bit worried about this subject!

Have had some funny times on France with dh where he has bee nordered out of pools and frogmarched off only to reppear sheepishly in (lent) teeny tiny Speedos.

Surely speedos should be forbidden on grounds of taste? Even the guy in that perfume ad that's about at the moment (the on where they're in the boat) looks hilarious.

We've been to thermal baths in Budapest and shorts style was fine.
