Holiday ideas?

I am looking for some suggestions for a summer holiday. Travellers will be me, DH, DS (5). Looking for somewhere that has plenty to keep DS amused and happy. I am driving myself mad looking for places as I can't decide so thought I'd reach out to see if anyone had any recommendations. Thanks in advance.

what about Maderia? it won't be the warmest place on earth (18-20) but if you stay in a place like this, then there is a kids playground, as well as a spa. as for the actual island, there are natural pools dotted around, and a quick google tells you all the things there are to do with kids.

Yep. Madeira was one of the places I looked at. Will go back and take a look. Thanks for responding x
