Hotel in Spain / canaries close to beach

I am trying to get DH to agree to a short abroad trip in the summer by finding an amazing, reasonably priced hotel in Spain or Canary Islands that's close to the beach. We will have DD (5) and DS (4).
Has anyone got any recommendations?

I loved the lopesan baobab in Gran Canaria

And the sensatori in Tenerife (though that was pricey!)

Also love the Boabab in Gran Canaria. We have been twice. Great hotel and facilities and it’s in a nice resort just 5 mins walk from the beach. It’s also nice to wander round in the evening if you fancy a change from the hotel.
But how short a holiday are you thinking of? It’s a four hour flight so if you’re only thinking of a week I would suggest Mallorca instead. It’s a beautiful island with so many different resorts and gorgeous beaches. Alcudia is lovely and I also like Santa Ponsa. Puerto Pollensa is also very popular.
