Houseboat in Amsterdam?

Anyone stayed on one? Ideally close to centre but I guess if public transport is good could be a little further away.

Depends what you define as expensive? Amsterdam just is expensive, - hotels, airbnb, all of it seemed pricey for accommodation.

We stayed in this houseboat though and it was central and good value compared to other options we found for 4 of us
