Dubai: Ritz Carlton or Royal Meridien?

Just booked half term in Dubai on my own with 8 and 5 year old boys. Have had a completely traumatic and tragic 2018 and need a quick sun escape. Am definitely decided on Jumeirah beach and have booked thw Ritz-Carlton but now worried I should have gone for royal meridien - is there more for kids to do at RM? Anyone with any experience? Pls don’t suggest any other hotel as I Am very indecisive and already has tried the one and only but it was full!!! Thank you :)

I used to work for a tour operator and toured both on business. They are both lovely hotels, so don't worry! Have a lovely time.

I've been to the royal meridien twice now absolutely lovely. Never had any problems and the service was the best. I stayed for a week each time. Would love to take my girls there when the little one is a bit older.

I stayed at the royal meridien and loved it! Service second to none and the hotel is beautiful.
