Aloni Apartments Crete or Almond Tree Houses?

Has anyone been to either of these? Would really appreciate any feedback. They are both through simply travel. We know the area around the Aloni well but haven't actually been to the apartments. Are a bit concerned that there may be no shaded play areas or shaded balconies at all, no gardens or anything - we have a 5 and a 1 yr old so need some space for them to run around.

thanks!

Yes, we went to Aloni in May. The apartments are very nice - clean and spacious. The creche was great - both mine (4yrs and 14months) loved it. However, our main problems were exactly as you mention! There's very little shade for the children to play in. I spent 2 weeks chasing ds2 around the pool and bar area! There are lots of slopes, steps and sheer drops!

So, whilst it's perfect for older children, if your 1yr old is mobile and active - you will be an exhausted, nervous wreck by the end of your holiday!!

thank you so much toothy, that's just the kind of feedback I was looking for. He is 19 months and a complete terror, so I think we'll give this one a miss.

You're welcome, MizZan! Perhaps it may be more suitable for you in a couple of years!
