We have stayed in a couple before and went to Cape Verde twice, once before kids and once since then. We would love to go back but the pools were so cold the kids lasted minutes before getting out. Are all Riu pools not heated and does anyone know of any with amazing kids pools/splash areas that may be slightly warmer?
It wouldn’t have to be a Riu, I guess we like knowing exactly what to expect regardless of what country your in and the all inclusive/security of a complex.

TUI do a Splashworld range which have waterparks and kids clubs on site. Been to a few all good - Magic Natura was nice by waterpark and zoo, Estival Park by Barcelona - more older kids, one in Menorca waterpark 2 mins walk good for younger kids. Not great cultural experience but great fun and easy. Went to one in Cyprus too, very nice think that's a Holiday Village - they are good for younger kids.

Been to RUI Guanacaste in Costa Rica, pool was warm and there's a beach plus ocean and includes watersports. Beautiful AI food via TUI - 3 courses served by waiters each night, family of raccoons on site, coati on site and gecko. Monkeys down the road. Next to place called Diamante with zipline and lots of animals. Rainforest nearby. Lots of amazing trips out to see sloths and other wildlife, ziplines etc. Its mixed families plus party people and more for teenagers than young kids. There's other more expensive hotels via TUI which are probably better, accomodation and food were great though - just the party people.
