Holiday ideas with 17 year old

My 17 year old still wants to go on holiday with me next year. I've asked him what sort of holiday he'd like but he doesn't know. My DP might come with us too. So I'm looking for ideas - UK, city break, holiday in the sun....anything really for an almost adult man, myself and possibly my DP. Has anyone had a successful holiday with a child of this sort of age? What did you do?

USA road trip if money will go that far.

We had a great holiday to Boston, New York and Washington with our 15 year old. So much to see and do. This was a special treat holiday for us and cost more than we would normally spend but was well worth it and actually not as expensive as I first thought it would be. If you didn’t fancy all three then just choosing one for a break would also be great.

For a less expensive option we also had a great holiday at Lake Garda - lots of activities to enjoy on the Lake and also day trips to Venice and Verona.

Thank you both. The USA is a good option. I'll have a think. Who did you book with @LaFlottes ? Or did you do it yourself? Funnily enough I did Lake Garda two years ago with him (just the two of us) and we did some trips on the Lake and into Verona.

We booked through the Flight Centre - I have a friend who works there and she is excellent. If you'd like her details just let me know. She's also booked a holiday for my parents next year.

We love going to Chamonix.
The boys are 19 and 22 now but We still go with them.
Its a massive outdoor playground both in summer or winter.
There's so much to do.
Also the Tatra mountains in South Poland are good fun for teenagers.
