ANYONE BEEN TO VILAMOURA, ALGARVE - WHAT'S IT LIKE?

Going this weekend, any good places to eat, drink etc?

It's really quite nice. The harbour has lots of nice places to eat, with all sorts of different price ranges. The beach is quite steep as I remember and the sea is freezing but all in all a lovely place.

Oh good! Hotel is quite close to the marina i think, so lots of yummy seafood places hopefully.

Will give beach a miss - lounger with drink and book by the pool for me!!!!

Is it the hotel vilamoura? If so, it is right on the beach and the entrance is on the harbour. We stayed there 3 years ago. Nice hotel, good restaurants and relaxed family atmosphere. Can't really remember the rooms but I'm sure they were good.

No it's not that one Binkie. Not sure of the name - girlie weekend and friend has booked it!

Am looking forward to getting away from this rain for a few days and soak up some rays!

It'll be fab, we were supposed to be going to portugal as well this weekend but had to cancel, so have a nice chill out on my behalf too
